A FRENZY SNACK FOR SPICING UP YOUR EVENINGS

                          NIMKI CHAAT


The Nimki made by Mom's hand is the lightest and bestest snack to go with anything. It can be transformed into any snack. So why not spice it up with some chopped salad and masalas. It will be healthy and will balance the maida in the Nimki. So we'll see the procedure of making Nimki Chaat. 
                          

INGREDIENTS:
Nimki- 2 cups
Onions- 1/2 cup finely chopped 
Tomatoes- 1/4th cup finely chopped
Boiled potatoes- 1/2 cup sliced
Coriander leaves- 1/2 cup finely chopped
Green chillies- 1/4th cup finely chopped
Moong sprouts- 1/4th cup steamed
Gram sprouts- 1/4th cup steamed
Black salt- 2 tsp
Cumin powder- 2 tsp
Chaat masala- 2 tsp
Bhujia or Sev- 1/2 cup
Tamarind Chutney- 1 tsp
Roasted Red Chilli powder- 1 tsp
Lemon Juice- 1/2 tsp

METHOD:
In a bowl, add the chopped onions, tomatoes, sprouts, potatoes and green chillies and add black salt, cumin powder and roasted red chilli powder and mix well. Now add the tamarind chutney and lemon juice to the mix. Now put the Nimki in the mixture and mix a little. Finally add the Chaat masala, coriander leaves and the Bhujia or sev to the chaat and give it a light mix. Enjoy your crispy chatpati Nimki Chaat during the eves.
