WANNA EAT A PARATHA WITHOUT GUILT? CHECK THIS OUT

 BEETROOT PARATHA

Every non-vegetarian must have tried Egg Roll once in his or her life. Obviously, there's no doubt in that. And there are several egg roll vendors who put Beetroot in their Rolls. If a vegetarian wants to have the taste of Egg roll, this paratha will taste exactly like it. You may call this Paratha a "VEGETARIAN EGG ROLL"  It's needs no effort to be made. It is made normally like other stuffed parathas . With very less ingredients and in very less time, you can relish this paratha at your home. When my aunt made this paratha for the first time, all my family members became a fan of it. So the recipe of Beet paratha is :

INGREDIENTS:
Beetroot- 2 no.
Onion- 1 no.
Coriander leaves- 1/2 cup
Green chilli- 2 no.
Salt- as per taste
Black pepper - 2 tsp
Wheat flour- 2 cups
Water- To knead

METHOD:
For making beetroot paratha first we have to grate the beetroot and squeeze all its water because we don't want our paratha to be very moist. Finely chop the onions and put them into the grated beetroot. Then finely chop the green chillies and coriander leaves and put them into the stuffing. Add black pepper and at last salt so that the beetroot doesn't lose water and become moist. Mix the stuffing well.

Now knead the dough with wheat flour. Make small balls of the dough and stuff the balls. Dust the stuffed balls. Now roll the balls into medium thin parathas. Don't roll too thin or the stuffing will come out from the paratha. Now cook them on a tawa with a little Ghee on both sides. Beetroot paratha is ready to eat.

Serve it with coriander chutney or pickles.
